Shabana Azmi’s support to the young actors
The veteran actress who will be seen in television show ‘24’ talks about her support of the young actors

Shabana believes in encouraging young actors and shares, “I am very pally with the youngsters. I have done a couple of films with Dia Mirza, Konkona Sen, Sandhya Mridul and I have shared a very good relationship with them ever since we worked together.” And adds, “They respect us so much and are in awe with their seniors. I always try to make them comfortable because if any scene gets into a soup, then we all are the sufferers. I never like to irritate anyone. Undoubtedly, I am very supportive to all the newbie.”
Shedding light on the enthusiasm of a child that she carries in her heart, she shares, “The youth finds me behaving like a kid. As I love to rehearse my scenes over and over again until I get it perfectly. Why do we do ‘riyaz’ for music and so I will never like to create any stumbling position for my co actors.”
Giving away a secret about Konkona Sen Sharma, Sahabana relives a past moment and says, “I remember while I was doing a film titled ‘Picnic’ with Konkona , she was just 8 or 9 years old and she played my daughter. I remember Aparna Sen would say that Konkona would become a writer like her father. At that time I had told her that she would be an actor. Today I feel proud of my prediction. I had kept the name Koko for her then.”
