  •  Arjun Rampal who is basking in the success of his film Satyagraha hasn’t been able to detach himself from politics ever since he shot for it. “I was in Pune recently when a bunch of youngsters came up to me to tell me that they really enjoyed the film. They loved the idea of formal training to enter politics. After all, if a teacher, doctor or engineer has to take up a degree in order to be able to follow his/her profession, why not politicians? Even they should study politics and only after having a formal education, be allowed to run the country,” he says.
He further adds, “I have been discussing this with people so that it ignites possibilities of change in the country’s political scene.”
Does that mean he might turn to politics some day? “Yes definitely! If time permits, I would love to do something for my home state Madhya Pradesh. To bring a change, one has to be the change. I try and do my bit for society every time I can. But I believe the thought process should be planted at the school level itself.”
