Amitabh Bachchan who has painstakingly refurbished Charlie Chaplin’s film, ‘Street Walker’ will showcase it at the 15th Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI).
Throwing light about other films that will be showcased at the festival, Shyam Benegal, chairman of MAMI said, “We have got an amazing array of films from all over the world. A whole lot of different streams of international films along with competitive Indian films and documentaries. It is indeed the cream of the world cinema, some of which have already won accolades at Cannes and Berlin festivals. We have made an extra effort to get films from Afghanistan in focus as they are passionate about movies despite the turmoil.”
