Sridevi’s shopping spree

Sridevi
has no clue what her husband Boney Kapoor is planning for her birthday
on August 13, so to deal with the suspense she has turned to that
time-honoured pastime, shopping with her family.
“My daughters and I have a great time shopping. They have become extremely stylish and love bags. They love to shop in London and also back home in India,” says the proud mother, adding, “I love to go shopping with them. They are fond of so many things... it’s great fun to shop together. And they know exactly what they want, be it accessories or eatables.” While talking about the convenience of super markets, the brand ambassador for Wee Stores cannot help but refer to her “laddus” in 'English Vinglish'. “I would love it if my laddus from English Vinglish found space in the store.”
On the film front she says, “I have not finalised any script, but I am reading some. It will be some time before I sign a film. I am keen on 'Mr India' being remade. Let everything fall in place and then you’ll know.”
Talking about her fitness regime, she says, “Of late due to my knee problem I have not kept up with my exercise regime. But I do not miss out on my meditation and also try to perform routine exercises to keep fit. Taking care of myself and my family keeps me happy and with happiness one gets a fit and healthy mind and body.”
She’s turned vegetarian lately. “I was very fond of fish but I have become a vegetarian now,” she says.
Ask her about her relationship with Boney’s son Arjun, pat comes the reply, “Let’s keep this for the next time.”
