Sridevi’s rival skips her birthday partyby lipika varma

With the stupendous success of Sridevi’s comeback film ‘English Vinglish’ and also having received the Padma Shri Award, all her friends came queuing to her doorstep to celebrate her belated birthday bash in Mumbai thrown by politician Amar Singh. But Jaya Prada, the yesteryear beautiful rival of Sridevi was conspicuous by her absence.
When quizzed why she did not attend Sridevi’s birthday bash, her business manager simply said, “Jayaji is busy shooting for a Telugu remake in Hyderabad. In this untitled film, Siddhartha, Jaya’s nephew will debut opposite Hansika Motwani.”
But considering the two actresses’ past, the skipping of Sridevi’s birthday bash might have been more than just a matter of a busy schedule!
