Writer-director, Suman Ganguli contrary to rumors about Ranvir Shorey being finicky, took him on in his debut venture ‘Blue Mountains’ as the lead and he doesn’t seem to regret his choice.

“Ranvir is a very sensible actor. My friends from Bollywood were astounded and they alerted me about his finicky nature. However, I shared a great rapport with him,” says the director.

Ganguly unhesitatingly cast Ranvir though his recent films have flopped miserably at the box office. He clarifies, “Look, even Amitabh Bachchan’s films have flopped and he has given hits too. Similarly, any flop or hit does not mean that the actor is not a good performer.”
