Udit Narayan attends an event for free?

Udit Narayan and singer Sadhna Sargam might be part of the ‘Spring of Rhythm’ show. But in a surprising act of generosity, Udit who is known to charge money for even having a photograph clicked with him, did not charge a penny to attend its launch.
When Aman Jha and Satyendra, the head honchos of the show were asked whether Udit consented to be the chief guest without demanding a fee? They replied, “No, not at all. Today he has lived up to the long association that he shares with us. But definitely we will have to pay him once he signs with us. We are hopeful about having him with us.”
