Juhi Chawla and I have always been close, says Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan has been losing friends fast in the industry. First it was Salman and then he parted ways with long-time buddy Farah Khan.
Perhaps that was why SRK recently made it a point to tell us that despite media reports mentioning otherwise, he was close to Juhi Chawla.
While there were talks about a tiff between the two, SRK blames it on the media. “It was a tabloid kind of story, which was not written correctly, reporting something which had never happened. It was a figment of the writer’s imagination.”
Their friendship goes back to the days when SRK was a newbie in the industry. It was Juhi’s family which extended support to the budding star and the two have shared a strong bond since then.
“Despite such reports, I feel it is because of the love I share with Juhi and her brother and Jay Mehta (Juhi’s husband) that we have stayed together and bonded for all these years. Juhi and I will always be together as close-close friends,” says SRK.
Moving on to a lighter note, King Khan shares one advice that his dear friend has asked him to follow. “Juhi has told me that whenever I have to make public appearances or attend events, I have to compulsorily cut my hair and dress neatly,” says the actor.
Juhi and SRK’s bonding also showed during the launch of Kolkata Knight Riders’ (the two are co-owners) new logo. They shared a great chemistry while Jay Mehta looked a bit out of place as the two actors turned on the charm.
