Her debut film 'Aladdin' might have been a flop, but Jacqueline Fernandez has found her footing in Bollywood since 'Murder 2'.

The Sri Lankan beauty will be next seen in 'Race 2' and she is looking forward to its release. “It’s an action-packed film and my character is fearless.”

“I must thank Saif for helping me perform to the best of my abilities. He would advise me how to underplay my character. I learned the nuances of acting from him.”

She is also in awe of the three brothers, Abbas, Mustan and Hussein Barmawala, “They share a great bonding. Not only do they only wear whites, they even share chai from the same cup. They are rare species indeed. I too wore a white dress and posed with them.”

Talking about her bonding with co-star Deepika, she says, “Deepika is the height of professionalism. I have just two scenes with her but her dedication towards her work helped me imbibe this quality.”

Jacqueline regrets missing out on 'Krissh 3'. “We tried to adjust our dates but destiny had something else in store for me...and owing to dates’ problems I could not be a part of 'Krissh 3'. At that time I was busy doing 'Housefull 2'.”

She says that many “good souls” helped her settle down in Bollywood. “Sujoy took me in his film and I met Riteish Deshmukh there and he too helped me. Yes Sajid (her boyfriend) has also been instrumental for my existence. But I wouldn’t pressurise him or any director to cast me. I feel casting is very important for a film. A director should think of me only if I am suitable for a role. I refuse to go begging.”

Jacqueline also enjoys the company of Sajid’s mother. She says, “She is a very kind soul. She is very jovial and understanding.”

She also shares a very cordial relationship with Sajid’s sister, Farah Khan, “I like her direction. I would love to work with her but I need to be cast by her.”

About Sajid’s plan of marrying after two years, she says, “Well! What do I say... usually Sajid jokes a lot. I hope he was joking.”
