Shilpa Shetty who is all set to make a comeback as the judge of ‘Nach Baliye’ Season 5 was asked if husband Raj Kundra would also participate in the show. To which she replied, “Oh! Not possible…The channel could barely afford me. Affording Mr Kundra is not possible for them. He is too expensive!”

The yummy mummy said her baby is always her priority. “I work my schedules around spending time and taking care of the new born. In fact, the baby’s almost seven months old and now I can afford to leave him for few hours under the right care of my folks. Shooting for only one day for ‘NB’ will not take a toll on me for I can strike a balance conveniently between the two.”

Among the many who are participating in ‘Nach Baliye’ are Rahul and Dimpy Mahajan, who met each other and got married on another reality show. Rahul says, “The concept of ‘Nach Baliye’ is very unique. It brings the couple closer. Their chemistry can be seen while dancing. Being bogged up with our tight schedule it becomes impossible for us to spend quality time together. So we decided to do this show keeping in mind work, dance and pleasure.”

He adds, “We are not doing this for the money, of course money keeps one going. We are getting our professional fee. But other important reasons have lured us to the show. Primarily, dancing shoulder to shoulder with your other half brings you emotionally closer as love begins to end in a marriage.”
