While attending the Beating Retreat Ceremony and Wagah border on par with the promotional activities for Khoobsurat which released this Friday .Sonam showed her regrets on not being able to cross the borders-“I have Pakistani blood in my veins. My nanaji and dadji belonged to Peshawar Province of Pakistan. I would love to go to Pakistan at least once. I am keen to visit Karachi, Sindh and Peshawar as my ancestors lived over there. I am crazy about shopping. So I want to shop innumerable stuff from Pak.” Adding more she said,” I requested the soldiers to allow me to visit these places. But I was not allowed to do so as I do not possess a proper visa!!” May be some other time!
