Sonu Sood waited for few years to be the part of Farah Khan’s film,” Happy New Year.” Yes….I waited for few years to be able to work in Farah’s Happy New Year! Ever since I was narrated my role she had informed me of having a sleek and a perfect persona. But when things were almost finalized last year-it is then I decided to keep my weight in check. Farah wanted me to have a sleek and fit body for this role to be played. I play a guy with grey shades but he is also physically attractive. It won’t be too much to say when Farah told me about HPNY going onto the sets I started living only on “Salad.” For almost more than one year I ate salads for breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
However, being a Punjabi and a foodie it was really tempting for me to have some chattpatti eateries. I definitely say it was “Wait V/S weight for HPNY. Finally, the stars are going globe-trotting on a promotional spree and I am going to shale shake my legs with Shahrukh Khan.’
Also updating about his first comedy film he adds,”Sonu Sood’s first comedy film “Its Entertainment is all set to release soon.” I do give away great jokes in my day to day conversation. This will be the first time I will be seen enacting in a comic role .But let me tell you the most interesting comedy that happened with me and Akshay Kumar while enacting scenes with this dog….by the time we would get ready with our dialogues this dog would coolly walk away from the camera. We really enjoyed working with the hero –Who is this “Dog!!
