In a bid to get money against his sincere and hard work being the mediator for selling the film Teri Meri Kahani starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanaka Chopra which released in the year-2012. Prakash Jaju has finally got an order of an investigation under SRTC section 202 against M/s. Kunal Kohli Productions Ltd.,Adult, Director Shri Vicky Bahri, Director Having its office at Santacruz. Shri Kishore Lulla Adult, Director of M/s. Eros Shri Sunil LullaAdult, Director of M/s. Eros InternationalMedia Ltd., Shri Kamal JainC.F.O of M/s. Eros InternationalMedia Ltd.,
We hereby attach the extract copy of the complainant Prakash Jaju- I further say that our company deals as broker in sale of the feature films between distributor and producer.
I further say that accused No. 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 had produced Hindi Feature film by the name and style of “TERI MERI KAHAANI” starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. I further say that the accused No. 2, 3 & 7 visited my office in January 2012 and requested the complainant to get the said film sold and that they would pay 1.5% of the price to the complainant as commission. Complainant agreed to 1.5% and shook hand with accused. Accused No. 7 then made the complainant talk with accused No. 5 and 6 by his cell phone. Accused No. 5 and 6 also confirmed 1.5% commission to the complainant.
The Complainant then through his efforts got the film sold to M/s. Wave Industries Pvt. Ltd., for Rs. 48 Crore.
The Complainant further states that lots of E-mails were exchanged between Complainant & accused dated 13.03.2012 E-mail from Accused No. 3 Vicky Bahri (Partner of Kunal Kohli) to the Complainant sending draft of agreements…..
Well! When contacted Prakash Jaju he said,” Yes! I have not been paid a single due against the said amount of 48 crs.Left with no alternative I had to take shelter of the court of law. I am happy that the orders have come in my favor the Hon. Andheri Metropolitan Court has ordered an inquiry under SRTC Section 202..I am hopeful of getting a positive response now. However, the order will be handed over to me on the second of Septmper, 2014.”
When contacted Director Kunal Kohali who was a partner in the project,” Teri Meri Khani said,” I have no idea about what you are saying. How can I comment until I get aware of the facts?”
Also Shri Sunil LullaAdult, Director of M/s. Eros International Media Ltd., refusing to comment said,” Right now I am in a meeting. I will not be able to talk to you. Please can we talk a little later?”
We tried contacting Vicky Bahri he remained unavailable for comment while Kamal Jain’s mobile remained unreachable
