On Singham and Singham Returns-
Yes! Singham Returns is different when compared to Sinhgam.It is not a remake at all. The topic of Singham returns script is bigger than the earlier one. The problems we are dealing with is also bigger. Singham in the earlier film had a different way of working, he would not even register an FIR, but now he is a changed character. However while solving problems in a small city it become easy, nonetheless the same problems get bigger in a bigger city. Thus solving problems in Mumbai city is larger compared to the earlier film? The population of a small state is also limited while the population and problems of the bigger city is larger therefore finding apt solution too has been dealt differently in Singham Returns. Singham is a character which exits in one and all of us. Both the earlier Singham and this singham’s working style is different.
On Mumbai Police support-
We have got ample of support from the Mumbai Police while shooting here. I really thank them for extending us such whole hearted support. I do not think every police official is corrupt. We also come across intelligent and corrupt free police officers who really work hard to maintain law and order in the city. We also need to vouch for the good and sincere work of these good police officials. We as film makers not only like to portray the wrong doings in the society but also project the right things. Giving a true insight to the people of our country is part of our job.
On fight sequences-
A lot has changed on par with performing stunts. Earlier when we enacted the fight sequences we would have to fall on the cardboard boxes. But now we have much safety measures and do not hurt ourselves physically. Now, we can use cable and Harness while doing stunts. At times when I feel doing action scene safely without the use of “Harness” which will then look more real, I do prefer doing it without the Harness. All in all I love to perform action scenes by myself. Doing action scenes does excite me and the more the real the more the excitement.
On Kareena-
Yes! My association with her goes a long way. I met her when she was ten years old while I was doing “Jigar," opposite Karishma. Performing romantic scene with her now, we do share a comfortable relationship and owing to that our chemistry looks great on the screen. She plays a Marathi designer in the film. The romantic track is funny and indeed brings in a relief in the film. We can say anything to each other in real because we know each other for very long time therefore the chemistry shows on the screen too.
On Releasing on 15th August/subject suiting the date
Yes! Our film releasing on this day being –It does benefit the film. But the benefit as Eid Holiday release is much bigger. However, for the subject of our film the release date is surely appropriate. The fight should be positive and for the betterment of our people. The film says everyone has a “Singham” in him. We need to fight, but not bring this fight on the roads. Our fight has to be on par with changing the minds of every individual which will help our country be corruption free and a better place to live in.
Meaning of independence for Ajay-
Independence to me means keeping the independence of our Country intact. We should try to end corruption by doing something good ourselves. When we appoint the Government officials they too are amongst us, we should bring in good people. We need to break through the drawbacks from within our country first and then look towards others. Improve yourself and everything will improve. Independence does not mean bring your fights onto the streets.
Onfrindship with SRK Whatever, happened during the release of our films Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardar, let me make one thing clear nothing happened between me and Shahrukh on personal level. It was between YRF and our production House. Also I feel both the production House was working for their product. I do not know who was wrong? But all in all we were being sincere to our films. We were protecting our films. Shahrukh was not involved in it. I never said we did not share a good equation…I said we do not share friendship. But this does not mean that we are foes. In this film industry when ever need arises we support and stand for our peers. When there was no “Dushmani” toh dosti ka sawal hi nahi atta hai. Friendship does not mean we need to sit down and chat it over on drinks…..I still maintain we are not sharing any friendship but we have never spoken ill about anyone. All this is media created ,I have been misquoted and both of us have remained silent on this issue. I respect him for his work and I hope he to respects me for mine.
On Kajol’s next film-
We are producing women centric film which will star Kajol.The film will go on floors next October. I will not be seen opposite Kajol we have yet not finalized on the male lead. The film will be directed by Ram Madhvani.Kajol is busy reading scripts from outside our home production too.
Ajay’s Shivay
I will be directing “Shivay. Undeniably we will not be doing films one after the other but yes…we will continue making films as and when we get good scripts.

Ji haan meri bahut bar satkti hai.But now I try not to get angry and remain cool” This term has become famous in the North region too. We therefore decided to record a song with Honey Singh. The North region public is enjoying it.
