Giving away inspirational tales about himself Aamir Khan addressed a huge congregation of students here in Mumbai….” Aamir has always been instrumental in bringing positive social changes. His most talked television show”Satyamev-jayetey” has also been the talk of issues pertaining to social issues. Giving an insight to the youth Aamir gave away different ideas so as to bring in changes in themselves as well making India a better place to live in-
Updating about making this society a better place to live in, Aamir feels the change needs to begin within ourselves. Only then we can ask the others to change.”I remember I would love to take long showers as these showers enabled me to learn my long dialogues with ease and interest. But when I realized the wastage of water owing to this reluctant behaviour of mine, I decided to stop this practice and save water.”
Travelling all alone can enrich the practical knowledge of the youth-“Well! I have always advised not only my nephew Imraan Khan but I keep telling the youth of today to pack up their bags and travel the entire India. Infact every parent should leave their kids in the lovely locales of Kashmir and from their they should travel all over until the shores of Kanyakumari. Undeniably while completing their vast journey they will come across s o many interesting stories. This will enrich their practical knowledge too.Especially, those who are keen on taking up cinema as their profession travelling will surely benefit them in their career.” Gushed Aamir.
Highlighting the importance of water and water being supplied on equality basis he says,” A city in Maharashtra has a huge amount of water under it’s under the earth’s crust. This is because whatever amount of water is needed to be used by the people there has been equal supply to them.No one uses water pumps in spite of having better financial status to get more water. They all abide by the rules and regulations made therein. What I mean to say-we all need to accept everything on the basis of equality only then one and all Indians can survive well on the same platform without any discriminations what-so ever.”
Last but not the least Aamir also explains how one need not be influenced by others but be able to decide rightly after being convinced…."I remember when my first film “Qayamat se Qayamat tak turned out to be super hit we all rejoiced. But a little later few of my films flopped at the box office in a row one after the other. This was the time when I needed a helping hand to pull me up from that sunken state. I just needed only one good film. In those days Director Bhatt’s “Saraansh” ,Arth and a few other films had created traffic jam at the box office windows. He was known to be one of the best directors. One fine day when he called me up saying,” I want to do a film with you.” At the very first moment I was so excited and thrilled that this was a bright chance for me to get back to be doing films which could bring in smile onto my face. Undeniably, after hearing his narration I could not decide whether I should do the film or not? I returned home asking him to give me one day to be able to reply back to him.Believe me I pondered over and I was not being convinced to do this film. I then told him that I will not be doing his film. What I want to give away the youth from this experience is –You need to be convinced to do something.Until you are convinced and feel it is not the right thing for you to do….you should have the guts to say,” No.” This will help you bring in better changes in your career and you can excel professionally too.” He concludes.
