The dotting father Emraan Hashmi has steered fit and fine after facing the trials and tribulations in life owing to experiencing a close brush to “Terminal diseases”[cancer] that his son Ayaan has faced in the recent past.
In an exclusive conversation Emraan discloses all about his and wife’s feelings that they underwent while Ayaan suffered physically. Also explains how Ayaan will consider his serial kissers image as a saintly act…..adding to his serial kisser image is another film “Raja Natwarlal” in which he will be seen lip locking once again with a Pakistani actress Humaima Mallick
Having seen death in the last three years in succession and also Ayaan [son] suffering from cancer has made Emaran more normal.”Definitely, we have gone through hell as we never comprehended or even had the slightest of thought that this would happen to us…. my son was diagnosed cancer. For almost twenty minutes we felt as though the earth had shook below our feet. We felt the world would come down tumbling like it happens while confronting an earth quake….. We were in a state of shock. But then we had to take to normal course as we could not keep low spirits in front of our kid. We were emotionally shattered while Ayaan was facing physical turmoil we were undergoing emotional stress.. But then keeping a brave front we had tread ahead in life. We kept narrating stories to him engaging his mind and keeping him away from the pain and agony he was going through physically. However, being just four is a plus for Ayaan.Kids do not understand what this terminal illness is all about, youth if face such a thing understand the meaning of cancer. So for Ayaan it was nothing major. He is back to school after six months; some of his friends feel he was away on a holiday. All my friends, family members and people belonging to the film fraternity supported us a lot. All this brought comfort to our not so very pleasant times.”
Adding further about the fear of death and losing his near and dear ones he quips,” My grand Aunt and grand mom died last to last year…..and then with Ayaan’s illness I guess- I have become more than normal. Hope, I guess has induced strength in me and helped me turn courageous. After facing these incidents in life. Everyone has the fear of losing their kith and kins.Similarly; I too fear losing my close family members more than me. With “Hope” we always have a feeling that this can be corrected and we can pull away all our agonies and miseries and be able to turn bad times into good times. We have to take measures to be able to solve our own problems. And when we constantly fight against the odds we do not get bogged down. We indeed experience steering through all the odds.
Definitely the out look to life for me now has changed. But I would not know how I have changed after seeing my kid being diagnosed cancer? However, the first feeling of this knock-out punch vide life was challenging enough to deal with. Then when you re-coup from this knock-out punch the thought of survival strikes you. It is then you start thinking about accomplishing the remedies to it. Kids are resilient and do not understand what they are going through. But yes! When he grows up, knowing about what he faced at this tender age will surely make him a stronger human being.”
About Ayaan if he turns into actor Emraan says,” Times have changed a lot on par with cinematic presentations. I remember when I kissed for the first time ….it was a big thing. I know for sure, when my son grows up cinema may have gone to another level…Now, kids of just 8 or 9 years, unhesitatingly fall in love.. Undeniably, on hearing about my on screen smooch my father merely “Blushed.” If at all my son turns an actor I will have problems with what he may do. Generations keep changing …he may go ahead doing something more shocking. So, I feel when my son watches my film after being grown up,” I’ll be like a saint for him!!” smiles.
With “Raja Natwarlala “ being the next release of Emraan Hashmi- who pioneered as the serial kisser will be seen lip- locking with Pakistani actress Humaima Mallick who is pitied opposite him…… Undoubtedly, this film will be another addition to Ayaan’s “saintly” image for his father Emraan Hashmi.
