Too busy to tie the knot

Work first: Sahil Sangha, Dia’s fiancé, with Vidya Balan and Dia Mirza
Dia
Mirza has postponed her wedding to fiancé Sahil Sangha to next year as
they – Sahil co-owns the production house Born Free Entertainment with
her – are too busy with their second film 'Bobby Jasoos'.
Though their first venture 'Love Breakups Zindagi' didn’t do well, Dia and Sahil are confident of their second film.
When asked if they postponed the wedding specifically for the film, Dia says, “Yes. Filmmaking is something both Sahil and I are passionate about. I know we have to get married; it will probably happen next year.” She adds that they haven’t fixed a date yet.
Talking about the Ranbir Kapoor-Vidya Balan starrer 'Bobby Jasoos', Dia says, “I am all set to release my second project Bobby Jasoos. A few other films on the same (detective) genre are releasing at the same time and though I felt a bit insecure at first, I am fine now,” she adds.
Dia, who shares a great bond with Vidya Balan, says, “Vidya usually takes a few months to read and confirm a script, but she finalised this on time.”
Coming to the topic of her fiancé Sahil, Dia says, “He is simple but at the same time is very clear about what he wants. He tells me not to let my heart rule my mind, which happens quite often. He has leadership qualities and knows how to avoid confusion at work. Any relationship can be long term if there is respect and understanding between the two.”
While there is still time for the wedding, we cannot help but ask about her plans for her ensemble on the big day. “Thia is my designer and she has been designing dresses for different occasions for me. She will decide on my ‘wedding gown’, its colour, design etc.,” says Dia, adding that only close friends and relatives would be invited.”
