Abhishek Bachchan avoids his plaster in daughter Aaradhya’s presence

The star who has a torn tendon in his elbow, avoids wearing plaster in front of his daughter
Abhishek Bachchan was spotted with plaster on his left hand during the first promotional activity of his forthcoming film ‘Dhoom 3’. When probed further he reveals how he sustained such an injury and how he avoids wearing the plaster in front of his daughter, Aaradhya.
“I injured myself and ended up having a torn tendon in my elbow. However, this happened during my working out sessions but I have not taken a break from work outs or the gym,” Abhishek shared.
When asked what was daughter Aaradhya’s reaction on seeing her dad with a plaster on? Abhishek replied, “I do not wear it while she is around. I wear it only when I have to go out as a precautionary measure.”
On Big B’s reaction on ‘Dhoom 3’, Abhishek said, “Dad was shown the promos first. Aditya Chopra is probably keeping the tradition that Yash uncle had started. He too showed the earlier ‘Dhoom’ trailers to dad. Hence keeping it in mind, Adi showed it to dad even before showing it to anyone. It was indeed great to get positive response from dad as he said that the promos are awesome!”
Recalling an incident with Aamir Khan, he said, “The very first time when Aamir called me on my cellphone, he just continued talking. Saying that the script of ‘D-3’ he had read felt really great especially the dialogues, story etc. Aamir also went on to add that the tale is going to be intriguing and that he will enjoy sharing the same screen space.” And adds, “Surprisingly, I did not know what Aamir was conversing, but I simply maintained the high note by supporting his conversation. As by then I had not even read the script. Noticing the enthusiasm that Aamir had in him and the first call to me, I did not want to let him down. I was sure about what he was saying even though I had not read the script.”
Appreciating Aamir’s work ethics and humbleness he adds, “I have learnt so many things from Aamir. Especially, before the take or during the discussions he would very humbly ask for everyone’s opinion whether the take is going ok. He tries to bring to your notice whatever we would be doing before going for the take. I like his confidence as he made everyone around him also enthusiastic by revealing his vision about the sequence.”
Talking about his character, Abhishek reveals,”I have not been promoted in ranks. I play the police officer. May be in the next ‘Dhoom’, I may get promoted as DCP.” ‘Dhoom 3’, the third franchise produced by Aditya Chopra, will release on Dec 20, 2013. The film will see Aamir Khan in the quintessential negative role with Abhishekh Bachchan , Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra.
