Model
and actress Rozlyn Khan recently had an unpleasant experience when she was
groped by a stranger in Mumbai.
“On October 1, my
sister and I were going for a film assignment meeting. As we were going towards
the parking space of the building I noticed a man approaching me. He just
brushed his hands between my legs. I was stunned. When my sister and I
confronted him, he simply said ‘if you wear such tiny clothes, and if I have
done it what difference does it make to you?’ We lodged a complaint and
he was taken into police remand. But he was bailed out on October 3,” she says.
Rozlyn Khan, a
participant in the Gladrags model hunt competition, is known for her risqué
photo shoots and for posing semi-nude with cricket gear for an IPL shoot. She
will be seen as the iconic cartoon character Savita Bhabi in Ram Gopal Varma’s
film of the same title.
“Yes I have been
finalised for the role. But I cannot confirm it till the finances etc. are
discussed. However, It is not going to be a pornography film.” she says.
Confirming the case,
additional commissioner Sunil Paraskar, says, “Yes, we have registered an FIR
under Section-509/304. The matter is pending in court and if found guilty he
will be punished. We have completed our duties.”
