In the opening lines Akshay mockingly says,” There are so many great actors who belong to NSD….I would also like to introduce myself.”I am Akshay Kumar….I belong to NA…NSD,” Non Actor School of National School of Drama”
Not hailing from school of acting refreshing his beginning in the filmy arena Akshay jokingly says,”“I began from a very low level…It all started after picking up a book on acting and reading it. I did not have any money to take admission in any acting School of drama, at that time there were many known schools of acting. I bought a book in which it was written on the very first page. How to learn acting? This book was sold in many places by the road side. The very first page of the book was inscribed,” If you have to become a good actor …be a good Human being!”I played a trick as I did not have Rs 175/- to pay against the payment of the book…I just read the first page of the book, kept it back in place .Walked ahead being confident that with this phrase I have already learned acting. You do not have to get puzzled in order to act. I am acting until this day.”
Turning alcohol in the film,”But I am surprised why Tigmanshu Dhulia has turned me into an alcoholic …why did he think of making me a alcoholic character. Though in real I do not drink .Not that I did not enjoy playing this alcoholic character. I presume bringing colourful character for an actor is indeed a challenge and a great job to perform this colourful role. In this film “Shaukeens” where I play myself…star.”Playing a ,”Sharabi” I know so many actors without mentioning their names …who get drunk pretending to have juice and a Naryalpani…which even I am portraying in the film “Shaukeens.I am not complaining it was fun playing my own self.
All praises for Lisa he adds,” Lisa has surprised me with her talent in the film. I am shocked the way she has performed the character. The last scene in which she looks so beautiful while crying in the scene. I am happy for she has performed brilliantly.”
On not being superstitious at all, “I am not superstitious..Why will I not like to promote the film? You may have read it while goggling…I am not superstitious at all. After making OMG -ab kya superstitious.
Will Aki take away Liza from all the “Shaukeens in the film,” Darling for that you have to wait and watch!
On promotions he says,” Ab mein yahn kyun khada huoon this is my film I am in special appearance these actors are in the main lead.This is my film I am happy about my film. And shall always there to promote this film.”
Having been away from any controversies Aki says,”“In my life time I have never tried to create any controversies.”
Good things being a super star…. being Akshay Kumar he says,” All good things have always happened to me. Ever since I have been in this filmy arena I would be lying if at all I say,” I regretted anything over here. As a film star I have always fully been satisfied all through my great experiences since I entered the film industry, as an actor and whatever sphere of film making I may have tried I am fully satisfied.”
Enjoying the status of stardom at this juncture of his life and having hoarded appreciations in almost every film of his Akki looking at his shoes he adds proudly,” Anybody would love to be in my shoes!”
