‘I can never talk rubbish about Salman’: Kasif Quereshi

Quereshi’s claim to fame can be traced back to his ‘aam admi’
controversy on Season 6 of popular reality TV show 'Bigg Boss'. But the
Hyderabad native has sworn not to mention the name of host and Bollywood
star Salman Khan in future. “I had addressed a press meet after I was
evicted from BB but an edited version was shown to Salman. So after
that, I decided not to take Salman’s name. I am his diehard fan and can
never talk rubbish about him.”
Excited about his role as action director for Rakesh Paul’s film 'Kamasutra 3D', Kasif informs, “I’m happy to have directed a couple of action scenes for the film. Even Rakesh is happy with the outcome and the DOP Sachin said ‘This film will portray action in a different light.’ Such compliments mean a lot to me. I completed the action sequences within 20 days.”
“I did not work with Sherlyn Chopra but I heard that she was very co-operative while shooting the semi-nude scenes baring her upper half. It was a cake walk for her,” he remarks about the film’s heroine.
What about the rumors that he wasn’t paid Rs 2.2 lakh for his work in K3D? “I have no hassles with Rakesh Paul. In fact, he is very happy with my work and I’ve already been paid.”
“I’m doing 'Yar Mera Dildar' and an untitled South film, in which I play the lead as well,” he says about his future films.
Not many know that Kasif hails from a conservative family and is married. “Yes, I have a beautiful wife whom I consider my root while all the other beautiful girls are like fruits to me. My wife never attends any events; she is very religious and wears a burkha. I respect her views totally,” he reveals.
Even though they’ve been married for a few years, the couple has no children. “Yeh khuda ki marzi hai… even Dilip saab has no kids. We have consulted doctors and there are no scientific reasons for not having kids. I will accept a child with the permission of Allah whenever it happens,” he concludes.
