Sallu’s heroine Sana Khan tangled in abduction case

Mumbai : TV actor Sana Khan, who had become Salman Khan’s favourite inmate in Big Boss Season 3, is in the news for an unsavoury season. Sana is reportedly sought by the Navi Mumbai police in the abduction case of a 15-year-old girl. This girl had rejected Sana’s cousin, Naved Khan’s offer of marriage, and in the complaint filed by the victim’s mother, Sana is named.
A complaint has been lodged at the Turbhe police station, which states that Sana tried to kidnap the girl while she was returning from tuition classes. Two people – Kshitij Gopinath Dubey and Vismit Vilas Ambre- have already been arrested in the case.
Senior P I Rajesh Katkar confirms the allegation saying, “Yes, a kidnapping complaint has been registered. We would not like to name the girl. I have already sent a team to locate Sana Khan in the Oshiwara MHADA Complex, where Sana lives sometimes. She was not found there”
According to the complaint, the minor girl met Javed through the social networking site Facebook in November. They then began meeting among friends, but trouble began when Naved proposed marriage. On April 30, when the girl was returning from tuition classes, Naved with his two friends and Sana allegedly tried to pull her into a car.
Advocate Yogesh Bhardawaj, who represents Sana says, “My client happens to be a distant relative of one of the accused and is unnecessarily being harassed because she is a celebrity  to hype up this matter. My client had no role to play in the alleged kidnapping, coerced marriage proposals and house trespass issue. She is being dragged into this case and has been subjected to mental suffering only because of her celebrity status. The complainant’s daughter was in regular touch with the accused person owing to their ongoing affair which turned sour. She knew the accused person’s relation with my client. To pressurize the accused,   Sana’s name has been dragged into the matter. Further investigations shall prove this. We are planning to file cases of perjury against the complainant and are also considering prosecuting the complainant under defamation charges.”
When asked whether Sana will surrender, he says, “No, we are not taking any anticipatory bail nor is Sana going to surrender. We will take a discharge.”
Sana’s manager, Ismail Shaikh, did not answer our calls.
