Mithun happy to help moms achieve their dreams

Will be see on a reality show that urges women to follow their heart

Mithun Chakraborty is another superstar, besides Amitabh Bachchan, who has made a successful transition to TV. Next, he will be seen on a reality show on Zee TV. Talking to us, he said, “I am very happy to be a part of ‘DID Super Moms’. My mother would not watch movies, note did she want me to be a part of them. We do not talk about films with her. She is from the ‘purane zamane’ types. Even today, she wears a big gunghat. So when I see these mom’s who have maintained themselves and are trying to fulfill their dreams, it makes me feel so nice. Everyone, whether man or woman, is God’s creature and should give their dreams a shot. No one should ever stop these women from doing what they want.”

Speaking about how Mithun was able to achieve his dream of acting in films, he says, “I am lucky to have got the support of my girlfriend Yogita Bali. I would not be able to say that I don’t fear this girlfriend of mine. It is a proven fact that everyone is scared of their wife. Whoever says otherwise is lying.”

Mithun spoke to us in the middle of a hectic day. After attending the press conference for the new reality show, he went on the unveil the music for this next film, ‘Enemmy’. The movie is a home production starring Suneil Shetty, Mithun’s son Mahaakshay and Mithun.

On to the topic of ‘Enemmy’, how was it to work with his son? “My son [Mahaakshay]  has to put in his best,” says the strict father. “There is no compromise what-so-ever when we are shooting together. I do not like to pamper my children when it comes to work. They need to pave their path through hard work. ‘Enemmy’ is our first home production. We have worked sincerely and hope the film does well,” he concludes.
