Salman's favourite star is a kidnapper?
Model-actress Sana Khan, who was Salman Khan’s favourite on the sixth season of the reality show 'Bigg Boss' is in the news for wrong reasons. Sana is now wanted by the Navi Mumbai police in an abduction case of a 15-year-old girl.
According to reports, the victim had rejected a “wedding proposal” from Sana’s cousin Naved Khan. From then on, began the girl’s problems. The victim’s mother has lodged a complaint at Turbhe Police Station.
It states, “Sana tried to kidnap her daughter while she was returning from tuition classes.” The police has arrested two friends of the accused, Kshitij Gopinath Dubey and Vismit Vilas Ambre. Inspector Rajesh Katkar said, “I have sent someone to locate Sana Khan, at the Oshiwara Mahada Complex. But she was not found.”
The complaint also states that the minor had met Javed through Facebook, around November. They used to meet with some common friends. But as soon as Naved proposed marriage to her, the trouble started. On April 30, while the girl was returning from tuition classes, Naved with his other two friends, along with Sana, tried to drag her into the car. Reports claim Sana was at the wheel.
Advocate Yogesh Bhardawaj said, “My client Sana Khan happens to be a distant relative of one of the accused, Naved Khan. She had no role to play in the alleged kidnapping or a coerced marriage proposal and house trespass issue, and is being dragged in this case and subjected to mental suffering only because of her celebrity status.”
He added: “The complainant’s daughter was in touch with the accused during their affair which then turned sour.
When quizzed if Sana will surrender he confirmed, “No, we are not seeking anticipatory bail nor is Sana going to surrender. We will take a discharge.”
