Kareena Kapoor says a big no to Karva Chauth
She feels that she does not need to starve herself to prove her love for her husband, Saif

seems the Kapoor girl has totally adopted the Khan ways and has now
even refused to fast for her husband, Saif Ali Khan’s well being during
Karva Chauth. She in fact urges women to break all shackles and eat more
on the auspicious day!
“I belong to the Kapoor clan and now
belonging to the Khans. I am not keen on keeping Karva Chauth. Why
should I starve for Saif? My love for him means a lot. Also he need not
need utter any ‘mantra’ to keep me happy. I feel while couples have love
for each other that proves that we need each other. I feel everyone
needs to eat and enjoy their love as well as their life. In fact be
carefree and eat more on that day!” says the actress.
Further emphasizing her modern outlook, the actress says that she does not prefer traditional, heavy jewellery and shares, “I am not fond of heavy jewellery and I do not like gold. I am fond of light, unique yet appealing jewellery. Then it could be artificial as well.” Looks like her onscreen bold avatars, the actress in real life believes in living her life boldly by flaunting her modern ways.
