RGV recommends Shanvi to Puri?

After
taking countless auditions for the female lead for his upcoming film,
Puri Jagannadh has more or less finalised Ram Gopal Varma’s latest muse,
Shanvi Shrivastava, for the role. “Puri is all set to launch his latest
untitled romantic Telugu film; the muharat shot will take place within
this month. However, he is still in the process of zeroing on his female
lead. He had taken “n” number of auditions, but had not been able to
find the exact match for his character.
“Ram Gopal Varma had been to his hotel in Hyderabad where he has been stationed for more than a year, as his office is under renovation. This Sunday, Ramu handed over the show-reel of his latest muse Shanvi Shrivastava to Puri. If everything goes well, Shanvi could be the leading lady opposite Mahesh Babu in this untitled Telugu film,” says a source.
When we approached Puri, he confirmed the news, “You are right… I have just seen the video of Shanvi Shrivastava who plays the lead in Ramu’s film Rowdy. I liked her performance as well as her screen presence. She looks good and seems to have enough talent. Let us see if we decide on her to be the leading lady for our film. We will probably have a clearer picture in a day or two. We are planning to launch the film within a fortnight and rest of the cast is in place. As soon as we zero in on the female lead, we will start.”
Though Shanvi was not aware, she is happy to learn about it. She says, “I am surprised and am jumping with joy. Doing a Puri Jagannadh movie would be like a dream come true for me. I know that RGV and Puri are very close friends. I had even met Puri Jagannadh while shooting for Lovely.”
